What is copper?
Copper is a reddish-orange metal. When exposed to the air, copper will oxidize or tarnish.
This is a natural process.
Some of our copper designs have been chemically antiqued to mimic this natural process to give a warm, rustic, expression.
Pure copper products are HYPOALLERGENIC.
Care instructions for copper products.
Included with your copper purchase, is a small 1" black tab. The tab will keep your copper jewelry looking new and free from any additional tarnish thereby maintaining it's beautiful antiqued look.
It is recommended that you enclose your copper jewelry with the supplied 1" black tab in the original plastic sleeve when not wearing.
This will prevent further oxidation.
You can also opt to purchase a "sunshine cloth" to polish and bring the luster back to your copper jewelry.

Can my antiqued copper product be lightened?
All copper products can be lightened if that is a preference.
To do this, take a small quantity of ketchup and rub over the copper piece avoiding any beads and then rinse with warm water and pat thoroughly dry.
